Allen Hollingsworth
Task Force General Manager
Allen’s introduction to hospitality was at California State University, Sacramento, where he majored in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism. From there, Allen spent the next ten years traveling the country with Starwood Hotels and Marriott International in various leadership roles before joining the team at Charlestowne Hotels. Since joining Charlestowne in 2017, Allen has continued to assist operations in need across the portfolio.
What is the most beautiful place you’ve ever been?
Kathmandu Nepal. The city was inspiring, from the Surrounding Himalayas and the kind, warm people to the cultural architecture.

Amy Mylin
Accounting Assistant
Amy was born in Charleston and has lived here her entire life. Prior to starting at Charlestowne Hotels, she worked in the Automotive Industry. Amy is an animal lover and currently has several cats and one dog. She enjoys traveling and working in the yard.

Andrew Zajdel
Accounting Manager
Andrew attended Robert Morris University, where he earned a degree in Accounting and Hotel & Tourism Management. Prior to Charlestowne Andrew gained hospitality accounting experience while working with another hotel management company. At Charlestowne Hotels, he is responsible for managing P&L statements for select properties.

Angela Muschek
Director of Human Resources
While on her path of self discovery, Angela joined the hospitality industry as a front desk agent, helping out a friend who was the Assistant General Manager of a Hampton Inn. 9 months later, she was the AGM of that same Hampton Inn and hooked on hospitality.
Angela worked with us as the Director of Human Resources while we managed The DoubleTree in Downtown Charleston. For the past 21 years, The DoubleTree has been her home as she held numerous positions in Sales, Accounting and Human Resources. Angela assisted with the rebranding and reopening of the property as Emeline, a lifestyle luxury hotel.
Angela has lived in South Carolina since she was 7 years old. Angela and Bill (her husband of 20 years) have an 18 year old daughter named Ashton and a 12 year old son named Connor. Most every weekend you can find Angela at a softball or baseball tournament cheering on her kids!
Angela is passionate about driving culture and recruiting, retaining and progressing great team members.

Anna Webb
Payroll Assistant
Anna brings an array of experience to her current position in payroll, but the driving heart of everything she does is her love of building things. Whether that is building systems to increase efficiency for payroll processes, building intuitive routines as an executive assistant, or building international experiences for college students, Anna thrives in situations where her creativity and systematic approach can merge.
Anna graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business Administration with an international emphasis. Her love of travel has taken her from coast to coast and around the world, from an internship in London to the undergraduate admissions office of her school in Southern California. Most recently, Anna moved from Colorado to downtown Charleston with her husband and cat. Shortly after moving, she joined the Charlestowne team in hopes of building a future in hospitality. Anna loves working directly with people, but on the weekends you will find her immersed in a fiction book with a mug of earl grey tea.

Anthony Langan
Vice President of Food and Beverage
An industry leader with a track record of success in the hotel food and beverage arena, Anthony has developed and led some truly exceptional F&B operations in his 15-year hospitality career. Many of those operations have excelled as standouts in cities with some of the most vibrant and robust culinary and cocktail scenes in the country, including Chicago, Nashville, and Denver. Anthony’s genuine passion for delivering memorable hospitality experiences is combined with a diverse skill set that includes strengths in concept creation, brand development, restaurant/bar operations, and event services. With a background that includes the creation & oversight of hotel F&B operations that have garnered accolades from the likes of Travel+Leisure, Condé Nast, Garden & Gun, and The New York Times, Anthony leverages his expertise for Charlestowne Hotels to create exceptional experiences within profitable outlets.
Anthony has served in a variety of hospitality roles over his career, including outlet manager, catering services manager, food & beverage director, and hotel general manager. His most recent role prior to joining Charlestowne Hotels was Corporate Director of Beverage & Food for Vision Hospitality Group. Anthony has received several personal awards over his career, including “Lodging Manager of the Year” from the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association, “Department Manager of the Year” from Vision Hospitality Group, and being named to Hotel Management Magazine’s “Thirty Under 30” list. His insights have been featured by a variety of leading industry forums such as Hotel News Now and the Future Hospitality podcast.

I was born just outside of St. Louis and I’m proud to say that I was raised on the South Side of Chicago.

Arthur Lane
Revenue Manager
Arthur attended Quinnipiac University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Prior to joining Charlestowne, he spent over four years at Wild Dunes Resort in purchasing, reservations and revenue. Arthur is responsible for maximizing room revenue through effective pricing and distribution strategies for multiple hotel properties.

Augusta Freeman
Task Force Food and Beverage Manager
Augusta discovered her love for the hospitality industry at a young age, inspired by her father’s event production business. She started as the host on the opening team at Makeready L&L, inside Noelle in Nashville, where she was born and raised. From the host stand, she worked her way up to become the Front of House manager. She moved to Charleston in 2020 as the opening Assistant Manager of Bars and Restaurants at Frannie & the Fox, inside Emeline. She was later promoted to Operations Manager. Augusta has been in the industry for just over a decade but foresees herself a lifetime of making guests’ days by means of experience, food and beverage.

Brianne Loftus

Brianne attended Albright College, where she received a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Communications. She is currently attending La Salle University for her MBA in Marketing with an estimated graduation of July 2022. Prior to Charlestown Hotels, Brianne has 4 years of marketing experience and most recently worked for the Healthcare Industry in Philadelphia, PA. At Charlestowne Hotels, Brianne is responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects, making sure timelines are being met, and communicating with vendors and clients.

Bret Hall
Task Force Culinary Manager
With a food and beverage career spanning over 10 years, Bret has worked in various roles including Executive Chef at Malone’s Steakhouse (Lexington, KY), Tin Roof (Indianapolis, IN; Cincinnati, OH), and 33 Staves (Lexington, KY). Following his success as Executive Chef, he served as the Food & Beverage Director at 33 Staves which ultimately led to his role as Culinary Task Force Manager.
Who is your dream travel companion?
Action Bronson – The chefs/restaurants he travels to see are right up my alley and he is always up for trying unique dishes.

Christopher Harvey
Director of Operations
Chris is a graduate of Clemson University with over 15 years of hotel and resort operations experience in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Chris spent 10 years at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, S.C. in a variety of management roles including housekeeping, front office, food and beverage and reservations. He also has over five years GM experience in both branded and independent hotels. Currently he supports several Charleston-area hotels and assists with corporate level projects as well as hotel development projects. Chris is on the board of directors for the Lowcountry Hospitality Association and Palmetto Goodwill and has been with Charlestowne Hotels for three years. Chris was the recipient of the 2019 Hotelier of the Year Award for the state of South Carolina given by the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association.

Claire joins Charlestowne Hotels with seven years of marketing & public relations experience in the hospitality industry that spans from real estate and hotels to restaurants and chef personalities. Claire’s previous role was with the Forbes 5-star luxury resort, Montage Palmetto Bluff, where she led digital marketing efforts, social media, photography, and brand strategy. At Charlestowne Hotels, Claire is responsible for the ideation and implementation of marketing strategies to generate direct revenue for the portfolio.

Conor Goodwin
Sr. Marketing & Development Manager
Conor joins Charlestowne Hotels with five years of hospitality marketing experience for lifestyle properties, most recently with Davidson Hotels & Resorts in Los Angeles. In his current role as marketing manager, Conor will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies to drive direct revenue for the portfolio.

Elizabeth Kornhoff
Assistant Controller
Elizabeth attended the University of South Carolina where she received degrees in both Accounting and Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. She brings with her over 10 years of hospitality experience on both the operations and accounting side of the hotel industry. At Charlestowne Hotels Elizabeth is responsible for several properties’ P&L statements.

Everett L. Smith Jr.
Founder
Everett L. Smith, Jr., has served as the Founder and CEO of Charlestowne Hotels since 1980. In this capacity, he has supervised the development and operation of multiple hotels located in Charleston, Myrtle Beach and several other major destinations within the Southeast. He has also provided a wide range of consulting services relating to the hotel industry such as valuation and market analysis, operations and financial management, and marketing and renovation planning. Everett, a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a Charleston native, has been listed as a “Who’s Who” in the hospitality industry.

Gareth Brown
Vice President of Operations
Gareth Brown has had a diverse career in hospitality spanning more than 20 years prior to joining Charlestowne Hotels. Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, Gareth worked in a variety of senior leadership roles in both independent boutique and upscale tour and convention properties while also attending the University of Alaska, Anchorage, for Business Administration. He was a recipient of “Top Forty Under 40” and “Hotel Manager of The Year” awards for the state of Alaska. In search of warmer climates, he moved to Southern California where he began his tenure with Montage Hotels & Resorts. Over the next 10 years he spent time in Beverly Hills, Park City, Las Vegas and Palmetto Bluff, holding senior and executive level positions which included oversight of operations, rooms division and residential services within these properties. Gareth was on the opening team of three renowned 5 Star / 5 Diamond Montage properties, and also attended the UNLV School of Hospitality during this time. Gareth now has multiple independent properties within his Charlestowne portfolio, ranging from the Southeast Coast to Central California.

Imran Jivani
Director of Operations
Imran Jivani is a 25-year hospitality veteran with opening, operating, and repositioning experience for multiple brands, short-term rentals, and independent hotels. He started his career as a banquet aisle man when he was 16 years old working his way up through multiple departments. He has primarily worked in the San Francisco and Chicago Markets. His expertises are guest engagement, revenue management, budgeting, P&L management, system/distribution, and team member development.
Imran has a BA in Hotel Management from Kendall College at National Louis University. He currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor and Board Member for The School of Culinary and Hospitality Management.

Jack Geraci
Executive Vice President of Operations
Jack Geraci’s experience in hospitality management spans over 22 years. His diverse management background in hotels and restaurants range from luxury boutique hotels, condo hotels, adaptive reuse and conference resorts. Over the past 10 years he has held his role as corporate director of operations overseeing, developing or acquiring over 30 properties with Charlestowne Hotels. Prior to his corporate role Jack directly managed award winning properties such as HarbourView Inn, French Quarter Inn and Lodge Alley Inn to name a few. His tenure with Charlestowne Hotels includes oversight of multiple renovations in excess of $70M and six ground up development projects. Jack’s focus is on all aspects of operations, development, owner communication with direct oversight of the properties general managers.

Jackie Mann

Jackie earned a graduate certificate in Digital Marketing from the University of Virginia in addition to dual bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Hospitality & Tourism Management from Virginia Tech. Jackie’s background includes five years of marketing experience in both the real estate and hospitality industries, most recently Hilton in Washington, D.C. where she worked on the Hilton & Hilton Honors brand marketing teams.

Jennifer Jost

Jennifer graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and minor in Studio Arts. She has over 10 years of experience in marketing that spans from being an account analyst at a digital agency and digital marketing manager at a luxury hotel, to her current position as the lead for the marketing strategy team for Charlestowne Hotels. She has been with the company for almost four years, and brings a depth of digital marketing knowledge and strategic input to generate true revenue for our portfolio.

Jennifer comes to Charlestowne Hotels with over 17 years of diverse hospitality experience spanning across departments: front office, housekeeping and food & beverage. With a degree in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Jennifer served as controller at Wild Dunes Resort for seven years before moving into operations leadership. At Charlestowne, Jennifer serves as a corporate director of operations where she oversees much of the portfolio’s university market assets along with a special focus on food & beverage.

Jenny Kress
Marketing Manager
Originally from the Midwest, Jenny moved to Charleston in 2013 to pursue her passion for hospitality. Prior to working at Charlestowne Hotels, Jenny has almost seven years of operations and marketing experience in hotel and agency settings. At Charlestowne Hotels, Jenny will research, develop, and communicate strategic marketing plans for a portfolio of hotels ensuring timelines and projects are on track. Jenny recently became an aunt and loves seeing her nephew and niece. Jenny also enjoys traveling and spending weekends with her rescue dog, Vince.

Jessica Lewis
Food and Beverage Manager
Jessica brings with her a wealth of F&B knowledge and experience gained throughout tenures with Kimpton Hotels, The Kessler Collection, Concord Hospitality, and as the chef/owner/operator of her own kitchen in Pittsburgh, PA. She served multiple roles opening and operating large brand hotel properties; primarily as Executive Chef at Marriott Autograph Properties.
Jessica graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Economics and as a NCAA All American Student Athlete and Captain of the Swim Team. Jessica worked for asset management group, Vanguard, before changing careers and earning a culinary certificate from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
Jessica is committed to creating an inclusive culture and developing new environmental, societal, and economic opportunities that will last and empower a sustainable future in Food & Beverage. Jimmy Siebold
Director of Operations
A hospitality industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Jimmy Siebold brings an exemplary history of hotel management and restaurant experience to Charlestowne Hotels. A graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in Integrated Supply Management, Jimmy started his career at the Jefferson Hotel, a five-star, five-diamond property in Richmond, Virginia. He has also served as a general manager at the four-diamond Kiawah Island Resort in South Carolina. Jimmy has held the position of director of operations at various sports complexes that include the Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Harley Davidson Museum. After assuming the role as food and beverage director at the Tides Hotel in Folly Beach, South Carolina, Jimmy joined Charlestowne Hotels in August 2012 as a general manager at the North Charleston Inn and has been a regional director of operations since 2014. Recently, Jimmy received his Advance Marketing Certification from Cornell University. Jimmy has been an integral team member with multiple renovation and repositioning projects during his tenure with Charlestowne Hotels. His passion for heartfelt hospitality and dedication to the future of the industry are highly instrumental in overseeing and defining the properties which he oversees.

Johnathan Capps
Chief Revenue Officer
Johnathan Capps oversees the internal and external revenue management at Charlestowne
Capps joined Charlestowne Hotels in 2010 as corporate revenue manager, and later grew to director of marketing before accepting the vice president of revenue position. Prior to joining the Charlestowne team, Capps was director of revenue optimization at Wild Dunes Resort, and he also received experience in hotel development with a Florida-based management company. Capps earned a degree in hospitality and tourism management from the College of Charleston and currently serves as an adviser for the college’s hospitality revenue management MBA program.

I grew up in the vacation destination for much of Ohio and Pennsylvania – Myrtle Beach!

Julee Weeks
Payroll Manager
As a local South Carolinian, Julee has a special place in her heart for Charleston. She began her hospitality career in 2008 as a guest services agent gaining experience in several departments leading up to her joining the Charlestowne Hotels corporate team in 2016. Her hospitality, human resources and payroll experience have been invaluable as the company continues to grow. Justin Harris
Art Director
Originally from Frederick, MD, Justin graduated from Pratt Institute with a B.F.A. in Advertising Art Direction. Prior to joining Charlestown Hotels, he worked at several agencies and boutique design shops, as well as Orient-Express (now Belmond Hotels). As a freelancer, he was the Art Director for two local publications where he learned to do it all—from editorial design to illustrations, retouching to photoshoot conception, and even wardrobe and prop styling. His freelance design clients included Blue Apron, Harry Barker and Outdoor Retailer among others. Justin is excited to bring his 20 years of experience to Charlestown Hotels with a focus on branding and conceptual thinking.

Karl DeHaven
Vice President of Revenue
Karl graduated from the University of South Carolina where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He began his career with Charlestowne Hotels as a front desk agent at the King Charles Inn in Charleston’s Historic District and soon after was promoted to reservation manager. In 2012 he became a revenue analyst for Springmaid Beach Resort, and since 2014 he has been a corporate revenue manager. As a corporate revenue manager, Karl will be responsible for the execution of revenue strategy in nine markets ranging from a small college town to a top 25 market.

Tavern Burger at Little Jack’s Tavern right here in Charleston, South Carolina.

Kelly Nelson
Email Marketing Manager
With more than six years of marketing and communications experience, Nelson develops inspiring and effective marketing strategies for Charlestowne portfolio of hotels. She holds an MBA, with a focus in hospitality revenue management from the College of Charleston and a bachelor’s degree in music from Furman University. She has also served as president of the Charleston chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Kelsey Millman
Director of Marketing Operations
Kelsey attended Syracuse University, where she received a dual bachelor’s degree in Communications and Information Management and Technology. Prior to Charlestowne Hotels, Kelsey has almost five years of project management experience at top-tier retail brands, most recently Stella & Dot in San Francisco. At Charlestowne Hotels, Kelsey is responsible for the execution of marketing strategies and requests ensuring project timelines are on track and resources are utilized efficiently.

Kyle Chouinard

Kyle graduated from Coastal Carolina University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He began his career in Myrtle Beach with an internship as a Front Desk Agent at the Hampton Inn and Suites Oceanfront and soon after was hired full time. Kyle joined the Charlestowne Hotel team in early 2020 as a Corporate Revenue Analyst. Kyle will be supporting fellow Corporate Director of Revenue, Karl DeHaven, and will share the responsibility for the execution of revenue strategy throughout their portfolio.

Kyle Hughey
Chief Executive Officer
Kyle is the “head coach” who helps define the company’s strategy and conducts productivity assessments for the complete portfolio. A trained CPA with a natural business acumen, Hughey has an eye for industry development and profit-optimization opportunities. Combining his 15-year background in the accounting industry with a passion for pushing creative boundaries, Kyle guides Charlestowne to integrate strategic, innovative systems that maximize the client’s goals.
As a graduate of The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, Kyle credits his military education for the discipline, attention to detail and dedication that he employs in his day-to-day role. Kyle began his career with Elliott Davis, a regional public accounting firm where he gained insight into the fundamentals of financial reporting. Prior to joining Charlestowne Hotels, Kyle worked with Kiawah Partners where he developed a passion for staff management, honing an adept skill to balance a team of employees and layered business operations.

Lindsey is an analytics-driven, Marketing Manager with over 5 years of experience designing powerful marketing strategies, growing engaged online audiences and developing eye-catching email campaigns that convert prospective customers. Her passion for travel, digital marketing, and design, led her to a career in Hospitality Marketing.
After earning a dual degree in Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism Management from The College of Charleston, Lindsey pursued a career in Marketing with Wyndham Vacation Rentals where she launched 6 brand websites for the company. Lindsey has spent the past three years leading the marketing, design and brand strategy for The Dewberry Hotel in Downtown Charleston.

Matt Barba

Matt Barba leads operational strategy for Charlestowne Hotels, which includes the expansion of the brand’s growing food and beverage division. Matt’s resume is a case study in operational excellence – nearly thirty years of hospitality experience with the last decade dedicated to expanding recognition for Charlestowne’s growing management capabilities. He was most recently the general manager at our award-winning property, Deer Path Inn and formerly led our highest guest-rated properties as a Charlestowne regional operations director. Matt leads our team on operations, service culture, F&B execution and guest programming across the full portfolio. His extensive industry background, including firsthand experience as a hotelier, has influenced his 360-degree approach to operations.

Maxwell Spangler
Director of Technology
Max’s background is a combination of hotel operations and software engineering, which he uses to drive solutions in today’s complex, technology-driven hotel landscape. As part of the operations team, Max will be focusing on assisting management to attain optimum performance and maximum value through a combination of accurate financial reporting, strategic capital planning, aggressive marketing and innovative technologies.

Michael Cady
Chief Marketing Officer
Michael Cady brings more than 20 years of marketing and advertising experience to Charlestowne Hotels where he orchestrates and oversees corporate and property marketing strategy. To provide clients with a truly bespoke and collaborative product, Cady’s team acts as an in-house marketing team for each hotel, offering an expansive program comprised of digital marketing, advertising, ecommerce, and creative development. His approach centers around identifying and building upon each hotel’s individual story, turning each property into their own brand. A testament to his efforts, Cady was selected as one of HSMAI’s Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales, Marketing and Revenue Optimization. Cady also leads the sourcing, negotiation and development of our vendor network, providing clients with access to a thoughtfully selected set of top-tier partners.

Michael Vasquez
Food and Beverage Manager
During his hospitality and food and beverage career spanning over 15 years Michael led the F&B teams at UP, a Rooftop Lounge in Nashville and The Edwin Hotel in Chattanooga garnering accolades from the likes of Travel+Leisure, Conde Nast, Garden & Gun Magazine, and the New York Times. Following his success in those roles, he would go on to serve as General Manager of Marsh House restaurant at the Thompson Hotel Nashville. Michael also worked alongside Chef Sean Brock as he opened The Continental at the Grand Hyatt Nashville, to tremendous critical acclaim.
Michael’s passion to gain and share knowledge, and his reverence for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences, has made him a respected leader in the hotel f&b industry. Molly McFadden

Molly moved to Charleston in 1995 to attend the College of Charleston, where she received a BS in Mathematics. Prior to working at Charlestowne Hotels, Molly worked in Hotel Management Operations in several Charleston hotels. Molly is an avid fitness enthusiast and hits the gym 4-5 days a week. Nadine started her hospitality career at Kiawah Island Resort, where she held many positions including the director of catering and conference services to revenue management, overseeing the revenue strategies for the Kiawah Island Inn and for the Kiawah Villa Resort. She has been at Charlestowne Hotels for over 10 years and works diligently and strategically to drive top line revenue for her portfolio of hotels.

Natalie Cline
Marketing Manager
Natalie attended the University of Alabama, where she received a degree in Marketing and International Business and went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Business from The Citadel Graduate School. Natalie is joining us with 10 years of marketing and project management experience with a diverse background. Her career spans five years at Blackbaud, the global leader in software for nonprofits, to most recently working in a creative marketing agency and as a freelance marketing consultant serving clients in the hospitality, food and beverage and professional services industries. At Charlestowne Hotels, Natalie will be responsible for the execution of marketing strategies and creative requests for a portfolio of hotels ensuring projects, resources and timelines are on track.

I was born and raised in my parents B&B in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

Olivia Griffin
Graphic Designer
Olivia recently graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Visual Communications and Graphic Design. Prior to joining Charlestowne Hotels she was the graphic designer for an online sustainable fashion retailer. Over the years, she had several internships at marketing and advertising agencies, working across accounts from hospitality to non-profits. Olivia also had the opportunity to study abroad at the Elisava School of Design in Barcelona, Spain, which sparked her appreciation for traveling.

Regina is that special person that “grew up” in the hospitality industry, as she started working at a small inn and restaurant when she was 15 and continued in restaurants throughout college (University of Akron). After college, she worked as an accountant for a patent and trademark attorney while earning her master’s degree. She returned to the hospitality industry as an assistant controller for PGA National Golf Resort and has held various hotel finance roles and corporate level positions in her career.

Robin attended Clemson University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in Accounting. Prior to joining Charlestowne Hotels, Robin gained 4+ years of Human Resources management experience at an independent boutique hotel. She has, also, held various Human Resources support roles at a textile manufacturing company and a facilities services company.
At Charlestowne Hotels, Robin assists our Director of Human Resources with Human Resources related duties for our hotel teams and corporate office, such as recruitment, training and development, and benefits.

Ryan attended Lock Haven University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Charlestowne, Ryan has accumulated additional hospitality experience from positions at Wild Dunes, Marriott and Kiawah Resort. At Charlestowne, Ryan is is responsible for maximizing room revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory management and pricing strategies for multiple hotel properties.

Sarah was born and raised in Shropshire, England where she attended Loughborough University in Leicestershire. She moved to the USA to start her career at 3M Health Care where she worked for 12 years in customer service, sales & marketing, and event planning. Sarah’s move to hospitality took her to the guest service team at Deer Path Inn. Most recently she was assisting at a Marriott in Fort Lauderdale, elevating their service delivery.

Shannan discovered her passion for the hospitality industry at the College of Charleston, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Hospitality and Tourism in 2020. During her time at The College, she gained industry experience at The Dewberry, Wild Dunes Resort, and HVS. Additionally, her three study abroad opportunities in Florence, Iceland, and Paris give her a dynamic perception of the travel industry. Upon graduation, Shannan completed the graduate school program at Endicott College, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Global Hospitality in July 2021. At Charlestowne Hotels, Maley focuses on revenue analysis and strategy for several diverse hotels in the portfolio.

Susan moved to the Charleston area in 2004 from Euharlee, GA. She has over 25 years of experience in accounting and has worked in a variety of industries including construction, non-profit, real estate, and multi-family property management. Susan, her husband, Mike, and their three dogs – Kingston, Savannah & Blakely – all love to travel and go hiking. She is an active member of her church and loves to sing.

Upon graduating from the University of Warsaw with a degree in economics, Ursula moved to Southern California where she launched a successful career in the field of procurement. After living in Los Angeles for 23 years, she relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, and eventually joined Charlestowne Hotels in 2013 with more than 20 years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry. Because of her extensive expertise in accounting, purchasing, logistics, product development and project management, she is able to proficiently provide support to the company’s CEO with its comprehensive array of lodging projects.
