Charleston, SC – The Junior Production Designer is an entry-level role on the Charlestowne Hotels in-house creative team in Charleston, South Carolina. Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, this position is instrumental in the production and organization of creative assets and will drive collaboration, workflow, and successful execution of deliverables in coordination with core team members and vendors.


  • Archive, audit, maintain and organize all creative assets and projects including image databases, design libraries and storage servers
  • Design, modify, update, and deliver print ready artwork for a portfolio of hotels
  • Package and preflight all final files, manage proofing process, coordinate pricing and place orders with printers, external vendors or media partners
  • Ensure outgoing materials undergo brand reviews and adhere to brand standards
  • Ensure production changes and technical specifications are met and delivered on time
  • Prepare, resize and upload images on a variety of platforms
  • Communicate and collaborate on feedback with internal and external resources during the execution of the creative process
  • Assist with photography and videography pre and post-production
  • Assist with internal design, project management and administrative initiatives
  • Track, report and analyze works in progress and completed projects

Travel Expectations:

  • Minimal travel may be required

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Photography or Visual Communication required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years related work experience required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud with a focus on Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Travel/Hotel industry experience preferred but not required
