The Jr. Marketing Manager will develop captivating marketing campaigns and act as account manager for a few properties. As this individual gains experience, properties will be added to their portfolio list and the position will grow as a whole. This role requires strategic planning and implementing effective marketing tactics to drive bookings. The position demands a specific set of skills from digital analytical analysis, creative thinking, and account management. Above all, this individual must be willing to learn, open to feedback, and eager to grow.


  • Annual marketing and budget development based on seasonality month and segment
  • Evaluate reactive needs/strategic requests, job requests and marketing tactics
  • Support on problematic/distressed properties
  • System integration/support
  • Client marketing satisfaction and management
  • Support Marketing Managers and Director of Marketing Strategy with additional projects


  • Aid in the formation of marketing plans, media plans, programs and strategy
  • Keep the Director of Marketing Strategy informed of client activities and challenges
  • Handle special projects that may be assigned outside the scope of daily work
  • Aid and participate in maintaining positive and effective relationships with clients
  • Ensure all marketing materials undergo brand review and adhere to strict brand guidelines
  • Pro-active communication with Revenue Manager, General Managers, and vendors to ensure all pertinent information is available to complete project requests
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports
  • Lead monthly marketing meetings with the property

  • Technical proficiency and understanding of industry related systems, marketing platforms and related tools such as but not limited to: property management systems, internet booking engines, CRM, CMS, analytics, paid media, social media, and email marketing

  • Creative eye for design and design consistency
  • Basic understanding of HTML

Travel Expectations:

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience
  • Travel/hotel industry experience preferred
