Foxhall Resort is looking for dynamic, service-minded individuals with a smile to join our team! At Foxhall Resort you will be part of a team-oriented, guest-centric environment. The Guest Service Outfitters are the first and last impressions of the resort. The Guest Services Outfitters will be the “face” of Foxhall Resort. In this position with Outfitter with Foxhall Resort, you have the opportunity to provide a warm, welcoming, and personalized experience for our guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively explain to guests all the services, amenities and activities on the resort
  • Escort resort guests to their accommodations
  • Assist the guests with luggage and personal belongings
  • Explain features of the room; i.e., Thermostat controls, television controls, in-room safe, and how to use the WiFi, etc.
  • Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests
  • Provide an orientation of the resort and its history
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Provide tours to guests and lead and execute various guest programming
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Use guest names during all interactions in the room or on the phone
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Receive and prepare room service orders; i.e., prepare station for service, including the set up and inspection of all trays with correct settings and insuring cleanliness
  • Correctly position plates, silverware, and food items on trays
  • Deliver and serve food and beverage items in accordance with procedures
  • Supply guests with directions or arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine or sedan service) for guests and visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • The ideal candidate will be safety- and service-oriented and enjoy working with all types of people, and will be cooperative, calm and patient
  • Flexibility is a must, and he or she must be able to adapt to changes on short notice

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • General knowledge of local nature (wildlife, trees, plants, fish, etc.) is a plus
  • Significant attention to detail
  • Experience in Resort, Hotel or a related field highly preferred
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, & stooping
  • Stand, sit, drive, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule (any shift)
  • Adhere to all company Standard/Conduct policies and procedures
  • Follow the company’s employee hand book for rules and regulations
