Douglasville, GA – As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and repairs around the property.


  • Perform Preventive Maintenance in Guestrooms and Public Spaces
  • Perform maintenance of electrical systems including light bulbs, electrical outlets and switches
  • Maintain emergency circuits including exit signs and emergency lighting
  • Maintain HVAC equipment, Boilers, Refrigeration Systems, Appliances, Kitchen equipment, door locks, plumbing fixtures and building exterior appearance
  • Resolving maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders
  • Conduct general organizational procedures in all mechanical and electrical spaces as directed
  • Maintain hotel cleanliness standards including general cleanup and waste hauling
  • Communicate all incomplete tasks and repair needs immediately to Supervisor
  • Work with Housekeeping to ensure all equipment within the guest rooms is functioning properly in accordance an effective preventative maintenance program
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Adheres to all company Standards of Conduct policies and procedures
  • Follows the company’s employee handbook for rules and regulations


  • High school diploma or equivalent; EPA Certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other hotel systems
  • General knowledge of repairs and maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and mechanical theory
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Significant attention to detail
