Charleston, SC – The Corporate Revenue Analyst is a key player working closely with a Corporate Revenue Manager at the corporate headquarters located in Charleston, SC. This position will support a portfolio of hotels alongside a Corporate Revenue Manager with daily tasks that include the preparation of revenue reports that will assist the Corporate Revenue Manager in implementing the Hotel’s yield strategies. The ideal candidate will display a passion for using data, quantitative analysis, and sophisticated analytics to develop optimal pricing, profitable revenue, and to drive change.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Accurate preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly revenue reports – the reports include market segmentation analysis, production reports, source contribution analysis, daily pick-up reports, preferred guest program analysis, owner reporting, etc.
  • Knowledge of technical applications, reservation systems and yield management systems
  • Assist with ensuring all rates are loaded and inventory maintenance is correct
  • Perform audits and maintenance on all systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering Systems to ensure content and information is correct
  • Communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required
  • Must be knowledgeable of the structure of rates, room types, and hotel products
  • Participate in weekly revenue management meetings with the Revenue/Marketing team
  • Prepare Revenue Management Report information for all related meetings
  • Monitor and analyze the competition daily/weekly through shop reports and the Internet to identify selling strategies and market trends
  • Assist in preparing short and long term forecasts, as well as the annual budget
  • Provide administrative support for the Corporate Revenue Manager
  • Review and analyze reports such as STAR, and other measurement tools and present revenue opportunities
  • Analyze local events and activities in each market, as well as forecast the opportunities they create
  • Create and maintain calendars for need periods and develop/execute plan for meeting market demand
  • Evaluate the property’s content/presence on internet sites and update as needed

REQUIRED:

  • Understanding of supply and demand modeling and inventory management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • 1-3 Years relevant revenue management/hotel work experience

DESIRED:

  • Working knowledge of Roomkey PMS, Revintel BI, IDeas, Travelclick, Synxis, OnQ
