Description

Charleston, SC – The Breakfast Food and Beverage Attendant is to prepare and serve breakfast items for lobby buffet and room service.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Clearing tables, speaking with the guests, delivering room service trays, and cleaning/restocking the food and drink display areas
  • Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about hotel amenities and points of interest within the surrounding area
  • Accommodate guest requests for dietary or allergy restrictions
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area
  • Additional responsibilities include creating and replacing floral arrangements for the public spaces, set up and servicing of meeting rooms, and checking in food orders
  • Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
